How Do I Reset My Oracle Password?

The following information is focused on resetting an Oracle password. This is not your normal ACU Single Sign-On Password and only impacts a small group of people. Most people should see this article: How Do I Change or Reset My ACU Account Password?

As a result of the Banner 9 upgrade, you need to use the "SSO Manager Credential Management Utility" to set a new password to log into Oracle services. 

Please note the following password requirements:

  • Your password must be between 8 and 32 characters long.
  • It cannot contain your username or any part of your full name.
  • You cannot reuse your previous passwords.
  • Do not use an "@" or "&" in your password as these are reserved characters. 
  • It must contain the following:
    • Uppercase letter
    • Lowercase letter
    • Digit (0-9), symbol (ie. #$%^), punctuation (ie. .!,;), or a letter or ideograph that does not have lowercase and uppercase

Please note that you will not be able to use the new password to access REPT until the next day.  If you have an urgent reporting need, then run your report against PROD. Please click to continue to the SSO Manager Credential Management Utility page.

Note: If you receive an error that states that "the UDC Id cannot be found", then you will need to clear your browser's cookies to resolve the issue.
