As the error says, the cause is most often that you are no longer active or not yet active. In the latter case, it may be that the you have been set to be active, but need to wait (up to) 24 hours.
If you are a prior student and still have access to your email account as described in the Account Retention Policy (link at the top of the page), you will have access to Google Mail, Calendar, and Drive. You will get this error message if you try to access other services and resources such as myACU and Self-Service Banner (such as for the purpose of retrieving a transcript online).
If you believe your account has been activated for more than 24 hours, here are some things to try:
- Try logging in using a different browser in which you are not logged in to any account, including not being logged in to the browser, itself. It may be necessary to clear browsing data (cookies) or use incognito/private browsing.
- If you are using a managed device, such as a non-ACU work-issued or school-issued computer, try on a different device that is not managed by anyone other than you.
- If your are using a network likely to have restrictions, such as a non-ACU work or school network, or a public network, try a different network, such as your home network.
