Instructions
This process is used whether you're requesting time off in the future or reporting that you were sick some time in the past.
- Access the Request Absence page from the Workday homepage by searching for Request Absence.

- Use the calendar to select days individually or click Date Range to select using start and end dates, then click continue.

- Select the type of absence.

- Enter the number of hours. If there are different numbers of hours for different days, click Edit Individual Days to select each day on the left and edit on the right.

- Write any comments or attach files, such as a doctor's note, as needed.
- Click Submit Request.
Checking Absence Requests
You can check your outstanding absence requests by searching for "My Time Off" from the Workday homepage.

You can also visit the Manage Absence report page to see a calendar view of your absences.
