Passwordless sign-in requires the Microsoft Authenticator app with notifications enabled. If you have not already done so, set those up. It is recommended to do this on a computer so you can easily scan the QR code.
- Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.
- Click "Add sign-in method."
- Click "Microsoft Authenticator."
- Follow the on-screen prompts. Be sure to allow notifications.
Once you have the Microsoft Authenticator app as your MFA method, set up passwordless sign-in in the app.
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Tap on your ACU account.
- Tap "Set up Passwordless Sign-in Requests."
- Sign in to your account.
- Open a browser window where you are not already signed in to SSO.
- Go to my.acu.edu.
- Put in your ACU email address, but don't enter your password.
- Click the link for "Use an app instead."
