How do I add my Canvas calendar to my Gmail calendar?

Canvas has a calendar that shows when assignments are due, if your teacher enables the feature for specific assignments. You can sync this calendar with your Google Calendar to have all of your calendars conveniently in one place. 

  • Navigate to Canvas.
  • On the left sidebar, click the "Calendar" icon.

  • Click on "Calendar Feed" on the bottom right.

  • Copy the URL provided.
  • Navigate to you Google Calendar.
  • On the left sidebar find "Other calendars" and click the arrow to the right of it.

  • Click the "Add by URL" option.

  • Paste the URL you got from Canvas into the URL box provided.
  • Click "Add Calendar."
  • The Canvas calendar will now sync with your Google Calendar.
    • Automatically whenever any assignments are added or altered within your Canvas calendar, they will show up in your Google Calendar.
