How do I remove extensions from my web browser?

Google Chrome:

1.  While Google Chrome is open, click on the customize button at the top right of the browser which is indicated by 3 lines or 3 dots.

2.  Click on "More Tools" and then on "Extensions."

3.  From here you can:

  • Click on the check box to enable or disable an extension.
  • Click the trash can icon to delete the extension and remove it completely.
  • Click on "Get more extensions" at the bottom to download more extensions.

Firefox:

1. While Firefox is open, click on the menu button at the top right of the browser. 

2.  Click on "Add-ons."

3.  From here you can:

  • Click on the disable/enable button to turn the extension on/off.
  • Click on the remove button to delete the extension and remove it completely.
  • Click the "Get Add-ons" tab to download more extensions.

Safari:

1. While Safari is open, click on "Safari" at the top left of the browser.

2. Click on "Preferences" and then click on the "Extensions" tab.

3. From here you can:

  • Click the "Enable" check box to enable/disable the extension.
  • Click the uninstall button to delete the extension and remove it completely.
  • Click the "Get Extensions" button to download more extensions.
