How do I install LastPass?

General Installation

You can easily install by visiting the LastPass download site, selecting the appropriate operating system and then choosing the download you want. You can download a single installer for multiple web browsers, or specifically install LastPass for the browser you are using. If you want to install LastPass directly from your browser add-on store, use the instructions below.

Install on Google Chrome

  • Open Google Chrome and click the three dots (Horizontal lines for Windows) in the top right-hand corner.
  • Under the "More Tools" option click "Extensions."
  • Scroll to the bottom and click the "Get More Extensions" link.
  • Search for "LastPass" and click the "Add to Chrome button."
  • After it installs log in using your LastPass account.

Install on Firefox

  • Open Firefox and click the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner.
  • Select "Add-ons."
  • Choose "See more Add-ons" and search for "LastPass."
  • Click on "LastPass Password Management" and click "add to Firefox."
  • After it installs log in using your LastPass account.
