Email and G Suite

ACU is a Google campus. Your email account is a Gmail account and comes with G Suite, including 50 GB in Google Drive, and you can use GOOGLE DRIVE FOR DESKTOP!

Be sure to make full use of this service and keep all your assignments and work in Google Drive so you will always have a backup of your work.

What Computer Should I Bring to College?

The number 1 thing to answer this question is to talk to your department. They will be able to tell you what software applications your computer will need to be able to run, and then you can reference those applications' minimum hardware requirements. Additionally the department will be able to tell you what preferences their faculty have.

Aside from talking to your department, we recommend you use whatever you're most familiar with. If you've been using either macOS or Windows at home, keep using the same thing here.

Printing

Students can print to any lab or residence hall printer using their ACU printing balance. Each student is given $15 at the start of each long semester. This credit does not roll over from semester to semester. If a student runs out of funds, they can add funds by printing from any lab computer on campus; they will be prompted to add funds. Any funds added in this way does roll over to the next semester.

Students may also print from their personal devices by emailing the file to mobileprint@acu.edu. After sending the email, a response will be sent with instructions on how to release the job. Students may also visit acu.edu/print to manually upload files for release.
