How do I Set my Calendar to See only Free/Busy (Hide Details)?

The "See only free/busy (hide details)" setting is useful for letting your colleagues and peers see when there are events on your calendar without telling them details such as events' titles. To set it up:

  1. Access your calendar in a web browser such as Chrome or FireFox. You may have to log in.
  2. Click the gear (Settings) icon to access settings.
  3. In the left navigation pane, click the calendar you want to configure, usually the one that shares your name.
  4. Scroll down to the "Access permissions for events" section.
  5. You can configure access for public and/or the ACU domain (myACU) by checking the relevant box. For security, we recommend NOT allowing access to the public.
  6. In the drop-down menu to the right of the box, select "See only free/busy (hide details)."
