How do I change ownership of a file in Google Drive?
How do I change ownership of a file in Google Drive?
Select the file.
Click the Share icon, or right-click the file and select Share > Share.
If the new owner does not already have access to the file, search for them, and then add them with any access level.
Once the new owner is in the list of people who have access, click the down-arrow next to their access level and select Transfer ownership.
