How do I request a group email alias?

A group email alias is an email address (a Google Group with limited features) that distributes all messaged sent to it to its list of recipients or members, in the same fashion as an email distribution list or listserve.

Factulty and Staff can request group aliases. Contact the Helpdesk with the following information:

  1. The email address you want for the alias, e.g.: myawsomealias@acu.edu
  2. What you would like the alias to be named.
  3. The email addresses of all recipients. All recipients will receive any message sent to the alias.
